Baton Rouge Youth Ice Hockey Bantam Team (Combined Baton Rouge & Biloxi) are the 2008 SYTHL Silver Division CHAMPIONS!!!  The Bantam travel team has went to the Kory Paries Memorial Hockey Tournament in Nashville February 29 - March 2.  This is the farthest a BRYIH team has ever went in SAHA.  We are very proud of our combined Baton Rouge and Biloxi team.  The team went 2-2 at the playoff tournament, surprising everyone!!  They played a great tournament.  The boys showed them how the gulf coast hockey does it!!!

 Annual Parents Meeting Held
August 19, 2008 at  Leo's Roller Rink 

There was a parents meeting will be held at Leo's on August 19, 2008 at 7 PM.  The kids had fun roller skating during the meeting!  A brief review of last season and plans for this season were discussed.  Questions are welcomed anytime.  New season set to begin in October 7.

A new officiating year is fast approaching. The officiating registration process starts this Friday on August 1, 2008. Officials registered last year will receive a registration reminder card from Colorado in the mail shortly. Attached is the notification for this year's ice hockey seminar to be held at the Hockeyplex in Lafayette, LA on September 6th. Also, directions are included for you to begin the registration process by starting the Acxiom background check. This is a mandatory requirement for everyone 18 yrs and older for the entire SE District including the coaches, so don't feel like we are being singled out. Read More
